Common Sense Australia exists to develop and promote practical policy ideas for Australia.
Most Australians know something is wrong.
Housing is too expensive. Energy is too expensive. Government is too slow. Regulation is too complicated. Major projects take years. Common problems are talked about endlessly, but practical solutions rarely arrive.
CSA was created to ask a simple question:
What would common sense policy look like?
CSA is not a political party. It is not left, right or green. It exists to research, develop and promote policy ideas that could be adopted by existing political parties, governments, community groups, businesses or ordinary Australians.
CSA believes policies should be judged by real-world results and consequences — not ideology, slogans or good intentions.
How CSA Uses AI
CSA uses Artificial Intelligence as a research tool.
AI helps examine large amounts of information, test arguments, compare evidence, challenge assumptions and develop policy ideas more quickly than would otherwise be possible.
AI is not treated as an authority.
It is used to help ask better questions, dig deeper and test whether policy ideas survive contact with reality.
The final test is always common sense.
